New Name, Same Great Program

Live Fit Family ChallengeWe are pleased to announce that we have adopted a new logo and name for our NM Super Fit Family Challenge program. We are now referring to the program as Live Fit Family Challenge. The contents of the program itself are unchanged. The Live Fit Family Challenge is an 8-week, family-centered, interactive wellness program designed to help families make healthy food and activity choices. Weekly sessions include a time for active play each week, a light meal, and interactive instruction on how to make healthy choices. Included in the program is a chance for kids to cook under supervision and experience the fun of preparing their own food. The activity sessions include a variety of fun-to-do games and active play. This program has been presented 6 times in various locations around Albuquerque, and the families that attend continue to express appreciation for what they have learned during their time with us. Many say that they definitely will/would refer their friends to this program.

We are currently taking requests to reserve a spot in our upcoming program, taking place September 5 - October 24, 2012. We will meet from 6:00-8:15 pm, on Wednesdays, at the 4-H Building at 1501 Menaul, at the Bernilillo County/NMSU Cooperative. Extension Office site. Please join us for an information session taking place August 29, 2012, where you can learn about this program and how it can help your family. (Pre-registration for the program is requested, and attendance of the information session is encouraged).
