Community Health Advance Participates in Childhood Obesity Panel

KNME recently hosted a panel discussion on Childhood Obesity and it's impact on New Mexico and what might be done to address the issue. State representatives were present, along with representatives from organizations that have an interest in the subject (including CHA's Terri Gibson). Participants also included Patti Morris from DOH, Andrew Garrison, Heath and Wellness Administrator, and Lynn Walters, Executive Director of Cooking with Kids. Individuals were interviewed and good discussion took place around the issue of making a positive impact on this individual and community problem in our state.

The discussion aired on KNME's program Public Square on December 22nd, but is available on Public Square's website.
